Add Your Brand

Open Brands and choose Add a brand. The setup has four steps: Website, Profile, Facts and Competitors. We read your site first, then you check what we found. Everything stays editable afterwards through Edit setup on the Brands page.

1. Website

Enter your domain, for example yourbrand.com, and choose Read my site. We read your home page and up to four key pages, pricing first, to draft your profile, the facts AI answers should get right, and your competitors. This takes about 20 seconds.

2. Profile

Check each field and correct what we got wrong.

  • Brand name: how you write your name.
  • Other spellings: every way people write your brand, separated by commas. A mention counts when an AI answer uses any of them.
  • Category: what you are, the way a buyer would search for it. Include the channel or platform word, for example “LinkedIn outreach tool” rather than “outreach tool”. The category drives the questions we write and the category checks in the page grader.
  • Channel words: the platform your product runs on, if any. It must appear in the category.
  • Who buys it, Main market and Language (a two letter code such as en or nl).

Name and category are required. Choose Save and continue.

3. Facts: your truth file

The truth file is the list of facts every AI answer about your brand should get right: prices, features, what you are and what you are not. Answers about your brand are graded against it, so keep each fact true and specific. Numbers we could not find on your site were left out rather than guessed.

  • Each fact has a kind: pricing, feature, entity or other.
  • Must say is optional: the exact words an answer has to contain for the fact to count as stated, for example $49.
  • Switch a fact off to stop grading answers against it without deleting it.
  • Keep between 5 and 15 facts switched on. Continue stays disabled outside that range.

4. Competitors

These are the brands whose share of AI answers is compared with yours. We suggested them from your own comparison pages, your site and search data. Tick the ones to track, correct a name or domain, or add one by hand.

When you finish, the Brands page says your brand is ready for its first check. From there, build your prompts and grade your pages.
